PAGOFX: DIGITAL PAYMENTS

My Role: Project Manager responsible for delivering the public website for PagoFX. I led the execution working directly with the client at their Madrid headquarters, managing Hanzo’s internal design and development teams.
🧭 Context & Challenge
PagoFX was launched by Santander as a standalone fintech brand to compete in the international money transfer space. As a highly visible corporate-backed product, it needed a fast, secure, and scalable web presence to support its go-to-market strategy while meeting strict compliance and branding requirements.
Hanzo was selected as a digital partner, and I was responsible for overseeing the full delivery of the public-facing website — working side by side with the client’s leadership in Madrid.
🚀 What I Did
Managed the end-to-end delivery of the public website, working directly with Santander and PagoFX stakeholders.
Led a cross-functional team of UX/UI designers, front-end developers, and back-end engineers within Hanzo.
Coordinated agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and backlog prioritization to keep the project on track.
Worked closely with compliance, security, and brand teams to ensure full alignment with regulatory and corporate standards.
Oversaw internal and external QA processes to support a clean handoff and launch-ready codebase.
📊 Results & Impact
Delivered the first fully branded, multi-language public website for PagoFX ahead of product launch.
Supported the product’s go-to-market visibility across several European markets.
Helped Santander establish a credible digital-first fintech presence in a competitive segment.
Ensured full regulatory compliance across copy, structure, and hosting infrastructure.
🎯 Why It Matters
This project reflects my ability to lead delivery in high-stakes, regulated environments — balancing design, technology, compliance, and business strategy. As the delivery lead at Hanzo, I ensured the coordination of internal teams, external stakeholders, and client-side leadership to ship a high-quality product with zero compromises.
