SOUTH SUMMIT: REBRAND & DIGITAL PLATFORM


My Role: Strategic lead overseeing brand transformation and digital platform execution, working directly with C-level stakeholders at South Summit.
🧭 Context & Challenge
South Summit is Spain’s largest entrepreneurship platform, and a reference across Europe and Latin America. I led the approach and delivery of a full rebrand and website transformation alongside the Hanzo team, engaging with their executive leadership to scale a global identity aligned with their innovation ecosystem.
🚀 What I Did
Co-led the strategic and creative approach with Hanzo, building a new identity centered on southern culture, valuable connections, and global opportunity.
Oversaw the creation and implementation of a scalable Storybook-based design system to support modular use across their local and international events.
Directed end-to-end website delivery, ensuring alignment with brand goals and seamless UX across editions in Madrid, Seoul, and Porto Alegre (Brazil).
Acted as the primary liaison for South Summit’s C-suite team, coordinating design, product, and development sprints to ensure timely delivery.

14+ editions, including international expansion across 3 continents.
7,500+ startups, 2,100+ investors, and 134 countries represented at South Summit Madrid 2025 alone.
€17.6 billion in total VC raised by participating startups; 90%+ survival rate.
Startup Competition finalists raised €12.2 billion since 2021 — with €311 million in 2024 alone.
Rebrand and platform enhanced brand cohesion, event scalability, and growth into new regions.
